Sephora Wishlist 2016

I'm heading off to New York City at the end of this month for Thanksgiving and despite the fact that we booked the flights and hotel back in January, I'm only just getting myself organised - booking shows and carparking and writing my packing lists. One of the most important steps before any Stateside trip is, of course, compiling the Sephora wishlist. Sephora is most definitely a highlight for me - it was the first place I hit up when I landed in NYC last year and I got my VIB Rouge Card on my first day (thankfully my VIB rouge status doesn't expire until 31 December this yeI have perused the website and the following are the things that I will be keeping my beady eyes peeled for.

1. Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Splits - you know how much I love Champagne Pop, it's my favourite ever highlighter ever of all time. I've long time wanted to try out the Mineral Blush in Flowerchild too for ages so this neat little duo sounds like the perfect pair.
2. Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche in Mauvember - if you did a word search of this blog, I would be fearful as to how many times the word 'mauve' would appear because I am mauve lip obsessed and actually I would class mauve as one of my favourite colours. I'm a big fan of Bite Beauty since I tried their products last year and not only is this a divine shade, the proceeds go towards mens' health charities also.
3. Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick - these were on my wishlist for last year but were not available in Sephora - I did see a display in Macy's but there was only 2 shades left - vampy and vampier - so I passed. I have heard so much goodness about these and I can't get enough of liquid lipsticks in recent times so I would love to pick up some  - seeing in the flesh is the real key but I think I would love Pure Hollywood, Dusty Rose or Soft Lilac.
4. Last November, I picked up the original Tartelette palette and I absolutely love it, so this year I am going to snap up the Tartelette In Bloom palette which is similar to last year's offering with more purple/mauve tones (there I go again)
5. Becca Blushed with Light palette is also on top of my list - though it was not available to us for the longest time, it recently hit Cult Beauty but I decided to hold out for buying it in the flesh in NYC - I get more buzz that way. This palette is gorgeous and contains the shades Wisteria (soft rose), Songbird (peachy pink) and Snapdragon (coral) - a perfect blush all rounder.
6. Last year I purchased a full size Elizabeth and James Nirvana White perfume and I must be on my last two mls of it now. What I like about this Sephora Favourites Perfume Sampler kit is that not only are there are a dozen fragrance samples from brands like Chloe, Elizabeth and James, Gucci, Narciso Rodriguez, Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney and Tom Ford, there is a certificate to redeem a full size of any of the samples included. I often find I love the smell of the perfume when I first spray it but over the course of the day it nauseates me so I'm going to get this on my first day and try out a different fragrance every day before deciding which full size to get on the last day.
7. Drybar is a brand I've been hearing about for months and as I'm always searching for HG dry shampoo, I'm going to pick up a bottle of the Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo to try. I'm really making a concerted effort to wash my hair every other day now to avoid drying it out so if this works the way I want it to, I'll probably end up buying a cartful to bring home with me.
8. I know we have a Make Up For Ever store here in Dublin but my experience shopping there has always been absolutely dismal - they never, ever have anything in stock. I'm not even going to waste my time popping into the Dublin store so I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for the new Pro Light Fusion Highlighter in Golden Pink.
9. I've already admitted I'm liquid lipstick obsessed, and I've been dying to try Huda Beauty liquid lipsticks for ages. I noticed on the Sephora website that they have these dinky Huda Beauty Lip Contour Sets for sale - for $24, you get two liquid lipsticks and a lipliner. I may end up picking up all 3 eventually but the set I really have my eye on contains two colours on my wishlist - Trophy Wife (rosewood) and Muse (muted rose).
10. One of my favourite makeup purchases to date was the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette, and I also adore the single Anastasia Beverly Hills single eyeshadows I picked up in the US last year, so it's obviously a no-brainer that I am going to scour all the Sephoras in New York City until I find the Anastasia Beverly Hills Master Palette by Mario. Just look at the colours! I am weak.
11. The Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist is such a princess product I know and at $48, it's not cheap but I have been so curious about this for so long that I really really want to try it out.
12. Milk Makeup is a brand that I have not yet tried but I am curious about it and out of all their products, I think their Holographic Stick is the one that appeals to me most - I'm particularly enticed by the lavender sheen that this promises as I don't have any lavender toned highlighters yet.
13. I wasn't aware that Sephora were stocking IT Cosmetics and I really hope it's not an online exclusive brand because I am dying to try the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream because this gets absolutely rave reviews like this recent one from Lorraine.
14. Tarte is one of my favourite brands in Sephora and I particularly love their Amazonian Clay Blushes so when I saw this Amazonian Clay Blush Palette Color Wheel with a whopping 10 shades included, I immediately wishlisted it.
15. Lastly but not leastly, I'm a huge fan of Tarte mascaras - I picked up a couple last year and I used them all up and they were incredible. The Tarteist Lash Paint mascara is their newest mascara offering so I predict I will be getting this to try it out.

There is my humble wishlist - I'm probably not going to buy everything and I'm sure I will deviate from this list when I actually arrive at a store but those are the products that have captured my attention to date from perusing the website

If you have tried any of these and would like to share your thoughts with me, please do in the comments below. Also please do let me know if there are any must-have products from Sephora that you think I should add to my wishlist?
