Real Techniques Limited Edition Duo Fiber Brush Set- Review and GIVEAWAY

Hi everybody!

So anybody and everybody know that I am absolutely obsessed with Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman make up brushes- and I pretty much own every single one. When I heard that there was another set coming out- I knew that they had to be mine! However when I heard that it was a limited edition set, I knew I would have to be quick! These beauties arrived a few days ago and I have been using them non-stop since.

There are three brushes in the set, and as you can see the ferrule is a slightly different style to the red, yellow and purple brushes that we have all come to know and love so well by now. These brushes have white handles but the writing on each brush corresponds to the function of the actual brush, which is a nice little touch I think. The brushes are duo fiber and straight off the bat is it easy to see that these are not as dense as the regular line brushes but this is intention- apparently they designed for lighter, buildable application. Generally in relation to all three, and like all the other RT brushes I own, these wash so easily, dry so quickly and retain their shape

I have used the face brush for pretty much everything. It's great to apply powders and I also really like this for liquid foundation because it's quite easy to blend with these brushes and the bristles are synthetic so you don't have to smear a sticky mess all over your face. I've used this for blending foundation, cream blush, powder blushes, mineral foundations, setting powders- it's just a great all rounder.

There's a contour brush which is smaller but could again be used for anything, I particularly love to use these for contouring with my Chanel Tan de Soleil or even with a highlighting powder. Both the face and contour brushes are quite flat in shape which is very handy for application.

Last of the bunch is the eye brush which I use for setting concealer under my eyes, highlighting my brow bone or even as a blending brush.

Overall, these are a worthwhile edition to my collection and I easily reach for them on a daily basis. They are a little more expensive than the other RT brush sets but I think they are worth it. Not only are these absolute multitaskers but the long white handles are very fetching and they are so easy to maintain and clean. I would definitely recommend them.......and.......

NOT only do I recommend them, I also have a set to give away to one very lucky reader of my blog!
