e.l.f. Studio Minty Lip Glosses

These come in 9 different colours and I have already purchased 3.

What e.l.f. promise:
The sheer glossy color conditions lips with a minty fresh taste. Can be worn alone or layered with other lip products. Give your lips a beautiful sheen and freshen your breath for instant gratification.

(Top to Bottom: San Diego, Chicago, New York City)
(My broken lipgloss- top keeps coming straight off the applicator)
 (Extra long doe foot wand)
(Swatches in natural daylight: San Diego, Chicago, New York City)
(Swatches with flash: San Diego, Chicago, New York City)

Packaging:
These are long clear tubes with black corks and long doe foot applicators which are always helpful for applying lipgloss on the go. The tubes come in at almost 12 cm each but don't be tricked into thinking there is alot of product in these because when you remove the applicator, you kind of get a better idea. Still and all, for $3/£3.50/€4, you can't really complain, and I picked these up during a 50% off sale so it only cost me €2 a piece. One of my lipglosses is a bit defective because when you go to pull out the applicator, the top becomes separated and you have to then fish out the applicator and attach it back to the top and it's really really sticky and messy.

Product:
I'm not gone on these. They are very minty as the name suggests and they make your lips feel all tingly. The colour payoff on these is really bad however, they are so sheer and the glitter feels kind of sandy and rough on the lips, and they are quite sticky. I mean, they're definitely not awful, it;s just if you prefer a stronger lip like I do, these wouldn't tick that box. If you don't like mint, keep away from these, I know their title kind of gives it away, but these have a different minty taste to the luscious liquid lipsticks and it may not be to everybody's liking.

Verdict:
I'm kinda 'meh' about these, I don't love them but I don't really regret buying them, I will prob use them the odd day I decide to do a strong eye instead of a strong lip. I quite like the minty coolness of them on my lips but they are not very conditioning and they are quite sticky.

Like I said, just not really my cup of tea!

Hope this helps x
