e.l.f. Studio Matte Lip Colour

These come in four colours and I picked up all four a few months back for 50p each when there was a special promotion on.

What e.l.f. promise:
This convenient jumbo sized lip pencil creates exact colour application with twist up ease so you never have to sharpen. The pigment rich colour glides on effortlessly and easily to provide long lasting matte colour. The enriched Vitamin A, C & E formula moisturizes and hydrates lips for beautiful healthy looking lips.

(Top to Bottom: Coral, Natural, Tea Rose, Praline)
(Decent amount of product)

(Comes with a little hidden sharpener on top)
(L-R: Coral, Natural, Tea Rose, Praline)

Packaging:
These lip colours come in 13cm jumbo twistable lip pencils, and it comes with 5cm of product. It's typical e.l.f. studio packaging, sleek black matte finish with white font. The packaging is really sturdy, the top clips on really nicely which is super handy because I have had lipsticks that have opened in my bags in the past and left a mess. Also they come with little sharpeners on top, just pull out the coloured part. I found these quite by accident but i just think it is the smartest thing in the world!

Product:
Honestly I am not really struck on these lip pencils. I am not really a fan of a matte lip, and they feel cakey and heavy on my lips. I will probably never wear Tea Rose and Praline but Natural and Coral are nice base colours teamed with some clear gloss. For 50p a piece, I cannot complain, but I would prob be a little miffed if I paid full price for these ($3/£3.50/€4). I also find them to be quite drying on lips and I always need to smother them in Vaseline afterwards.

Verdict:
I know some people adore these but they are not my lip product of choice. I wouldn't repurchase any of them.

Star rating:
**
And that's only because Natural and Coral make nice bases for other glosses.
