e.l.f. Studio Cream Eyeliners

These come in 8 colours and I have already purchased 7. They retail at $3/£3.50/€4.

What e.l.f. promise:
Creates smooth lines that are defined and precise. Smudge-proof, budge-proof and water-resistant coverage for all day wear to combat against, sweat, tears and rain!

(L-R: Gunmetal, Plum Purple, Midnight, Metallic Olive, Copper, Coffee, Black)

Packaging:

This cream eyeliners come in little pots with screw top lids, and even though the pots look quite small, the product really does go a long way, I have used my black one especially so many times and I’ve barely scratched the surface. They come with a little brush which is really handy but I am not the hugest fan of the brush – I mean I would use it in a jam if I couldn’t find any of my other brushes but I think this product works brilliantly with the e.l.f. Small Angled Brush (http://www.eyeslipsface.co.uk/product~prodID~143.htm) because I find the longer handle gives better control than the smaller brush. And nothing takes away from the lovely product inside the pot!

Product:

I absolutely love this eyeliner and would rate it on par with the Bobbi Brown gel eyeliners which I also adore. However, unlike the Bobbi Brown equivalent, I find the e.l.f. formula seems to stay fresher for longer, maybe it’s because it’s a cream and not gel eyeliner I don’t know, but everytime I open my e.l.f. liner it’s still nice and shiny and appealing to use unlike the Bobbi Brown liners that used to just dry up in no time at all. Just an observation. I have seven of the eight colours and I purchased a back up black eyeliner a few weeks ago during a 50% off sale just in case, it is definitely my go to eyeliner and my favourite one on the go right now. I love love love the black, but the other colours are really great too- midnight and plum are not as blue and purple ideally as I would like but they are still nice products, and shades like metallic olive and copper are really stunning. The only one I didn’t get was the white one and honestly, if I had it I don’t think I would ever use it. The control you get with this magical cream is amazing and the staying power surprised me- I have worn this on nights out and it has not budged at all, I very very rarely wear any liner or mascara on my lower lash line and the eyeliner does not budge or fade and stays as defined as it was leaving the house. If you like your liners and are confident enough to go for a cream liner, I definitely 100% recommend this- one of my favourite all time products.

Verdict:

Such a great dupe for Bobbi Brown gel eyeliners, if you love your lashes then get this product. I’ll keep repurchasing this over and over. Love it.
