e.l.f. Mineral Infused Mascara

The Mineral Infused Mascara, unlike the other mascaras e.l.f. offer, comes in black only and retails at $3/£3.50/€4.

What e.l.f. promise:
Mineral Infused Mascara creates fuller, healthier looking lashes. It enhances lashes for a naturally thicker and more volumized look. The long-wear formula and unique silicone brush creates clump free and defined lashes that last all day.

This conforms to a more typical packaging than the Lengthening and Volumising Mascara also from the e.l.f. Studio range, and as a result you feel like you get more product. The wand to this is completely different, it's more of a comb and is better for defining lashes.

This is a good daytime mascara but I definitely think it lacks any real impact. It defines lashes nicely but doesn't distribute much product. I like it for a natural mascara look- those days where you can't be bothered with makeup or 'tinted moisturiser days'. I have long lashes so it works fine for me but if you are looking for help in the lash department, this is not the mascara for you. Also, on maybe a purely pedantic point, the brush on this one irritates my eyes every so slightly, I find that I am almost a little reluctant to put it near my eyes because it feels scratchy and pointy. I know it's probably just me, but I like to really go to the roots of my lashes when applying mascara and this brush just stabs or grates or something against my lashes. It's just a momentary discomfort when I am applying it but it's really irritating! Call me a pedant if you must!

Same as the e.l.f. Lengthening and Volumising Mascara, this is just middle of the road in my opinion- not great, not awful and not a patch on the mascaras from the e.l.f. regular line.

Hope this helps xxx
