e.l.f. Luscious Liquid Lipsticks

These luscious liquid lipsticks come in eleven different colours and I have purchased 6 to date.

What e.l.f. promise:
Lip therapy is here. Intensive hydrating agents along with natural pigments leave lips with Long-lasting colour and moisture. This luscious liquid lipstick creates wearable colour that flatters a multitude of skin tones and looks.

(Top to Bottom: Baby Lips, Brownie Points, Strawberry, Bark, Ruby Slipper, Cherry Tart)
(Typical doe foot applicator, nice and wide, good coverage and great for evenly distributing product)
(Swatches- top row- Baby Lips, Brownie Points, Strawberry.
Bottom row: Bark, Ruby Slipper, Cherry Tart)

So as you can see from the pictures, the colours come in little plastic sticks with a large doe foot applicator with a little twist device on top to get the lovely product out. The applicator is a great size for lips and allows for quick, easy application. The twist mechanism is ok, kinda meh, you have to twist about 100 times at the start to get the first little beadlets of coloured gloss out but that's no biggie. The major peeve I have with these is the amount of actual product in the sticks themselves- the sticks are 12.5cm in length and only about 2.5cm of that is actual product. I know you can't complain much for $1/£1.50/€1.70 but still I hate wastage and the packaging v product balance seems a little excessive to say the least.

I absolutely love this product. It is so incredibly pigmented, particularly the redder colours, and they are nice and light and not too sticky. That said, Baby Lips is probably my favourite because it is a lovely glossy natural looking pink. They taste like mint but not a sickly mint, just more of a cooling tingly mint. It goes on really smooth and lasts a decent amount of time and what i really like about it is that it is a gradual fade and not a patchy fade, and the colour doesn't bleed past your lips. It feels nice and light on, not drying at all, and even though in the tubes it looks like a gloss, the actual product itself is a bit thicker than a gloss and I think that's probably why it stays put just that little bit better!

I love these and I would repurchase, ok they are not going to last forever but they are well worth the money you would spend and they are super handy for applying on the go. Staying power is great, pigmentation is great, really good value for money product from e.l.f.

Star rating:
Would be a 5 star rating only I can't forgive the tiny bit of product in such a long tube, seems like crazy wastage!
