e.l.f. Liquid Eyeliner

I'm generally not a fan of liquid eyeliners but I said I'd pick one up during an e.l.f. 50% off offer to see what they were like. They come in 9 colours and ordinarily retail at $1/£1.50/€1.70 but I picked up mine for 85c.

What e.l.f. promise:
No more tugging or pulling on your eyelids with this easy glide liquid eyeliner. The smudge-proof liner is rich in color, creating a long lasting defined look. The fine tip brush creates easy and precise definition for natural or dramatic effects.

Packaging:
There is nothing remarkable about this packaging which sets it apart from any of the rest of the liquid eyeliners I have ever tried, you get the long handled applicator and the little pot of coloured ink. The nib on the applicator is quite fine but the product looks a little gloopy and you kind of need to scrape it off the neck of the ink bottle to knock off excess, even from the very first go, but it's not a huge hardship.

Product:
I bought this in the colour black and I have used it a few times on my lids when creating an uber dramatic smokey eye, just to really blacken and fill in any gaps, and it did the job just fine, it didn't blow me away and it did last for ages, so much so that it was quite difficult to remove even with eye make up remover!

Verdict:
Didn't set my world on fire but did meet all my expectations. Again, this doesn't come near the cream eyeliners from the e.l.f. studio line range or Bobbi Brown gel eyeliners, but it does the job.

Hope this helps xxx
