e.l.f. Flawless Finish Foundation

I am a die hard MAC foundation fan and I was very reluctant to stray from my Studio Fix combo but I said I would try these during a recent 50% off sale. This foundation usually retails at $6/£6.50/€7.50 but I got it for €3.75. Ii am uber pale so I got it in the palest shade which is Porcelain.

What e.l.f. promise:
Achieve a flawless complexion with the silky smooth e.l.f. Studio Flawless Finish Foundation. The lightweight formula blends in naturally for a beautiful semi-matte finish. This liquid foundation applies easily and lasts all day for visibly brighter and radiant looking skin. Using our Flawless Finish Foundation not only restores uneven skin textures and tones, but most importantly, the SPF 15 protects your skin against harmful sun damage!

 Pump included!

Colour lightly blended, not blended in fully

The packaging of this product is super sleek, I was so pleasantly impressed, it looks like some high end foundation, comes with a pump which is great and the black top and frosted glass is very chic indeed. The pump distributes just the right amount of product, I find one pump is plenty to cover your whole face and when I choose to use foundation instead of moisturiser I like good coverage. The top fastens properly, the pump isn't messy and I know some fellow bloggers have had problems with their pumps breaking but I have had no such issue.

I LOVE THIS FOUNDATION. I can't state it any clearer than that. I usually take NW15/NW20 in MAC Studio Fix foundation but I went for Porcelain and it is a perfect match- no tide marks whatsoever. It's so easy to apply and blend. I apply with my MAC 190 Foundation Brush and then to finish it off I add the Studio Pressed Powder also in Porcelain over the foundation using the e.l.f. Studio Powder Brush and this really sets it perfectly. I like the smell of the product, nothing offensive about it at all, it's easy to blend and lasts the whole entire day. I don't find it cakey but I understand how people might find it cakey if it wasn't blended properly. I know it's a bit risky picking a swatch from the website because the colours on the e.l.f. UK website are notoriously dodge in a 'lucky dip' kind of way, but I was really lucky. I would love to get a colour to match my fake tan, obviously I can't use Porcelain, but I am unsure of what shade would suit best.

Again, I cannot believe that this foundation was just €3.75 when the pump you get from MAC costs that much. I really like the product, I haven't had any issues with breakouts or anything yet, my skin would be combination with dry patches around my jaw and forehead but the foundation balances everything perfect and really does leave a flawless finish. I have already repurchased and have back ups for whenever it runs out.
