e.l.f. Duo Cream Eyeshadows

These come in 9 colours and I have already purchased 6. They retail at $1/£1.50/€1.70.

What e.l.f. promise:
Express yourse.l.f. with the easy to blend, crease resistant, creamy duo eye shadow colors. Each gorgeous shade can be worn alone or together for a dramatic effect. The soft-blending formula can also be layered under powder eye shadow to set the color in and keep it lasting vibrant all day.

Packaging:
These are packaged in the exact same manner as the Duo Eyeshadows and I have no complaints whatsoever.  I think the packaging is perfectly adequate- the shadows are safe and secure, easily identifiable, couldn't ask for more.

Product:
I know these shadows have been slated by some but i think these are the most amazing bases. I have had no problems with these creasing and all I do to prepare my lids when using these shadows is a quick application of e.l.f. Translucent Mattifying Powder and this provides the perfect base. These shadows are great bases and make it really easy to pack on powder shadow to the lids and the colour is more intense as a result. I match up each of the Duo Eyeshadows with their equivalent Duo Cream Eyeshadows and I like to use Sugar Cookie as a base for lighter colours because it helps them to stick. I wouldn't wear these on their own however, i think they might look a little greasy and one dimensional. I use my fingers to apply these to my lids and an eyeshadow brush to apply powder over the cream base.

Verdict:
Great bases but wouldn't use these on their own as standalone eye colour.
